Overview

While Sugar Bowl is known for its powder, the mountain offers a variety of terrain and activities to suit every taste including three terrain parks, abundant backcountry access, a children's learning center, and yoga classes at the Village Hall.

Terrain Parks
Sugar Bowl is home to three terrain parks, each with a variety of jumps, rails and jibs. Whether you’re a seasoned freerider or are just learning how to jump, you’re sure to find something to suit your taste at Sugar Bowl.

Backcountry Access
Sugar Bowl’s back and sidecountry terrain is open for experienced skiers looking for their next challenge. The sidecountry runs still have lift access, so if you're looking for something a bit more challenging, but aren't quite ready to "earn your turns," this is a good place to start.  Tours, equipment rentals, avalanche education and lessons are available at the backcountry adventure center.

Yoga on the Summit
Looking for a great way to relax and unwind before your day on the mountain? Yoga on the summit takes place on Saturdays and Sundays in the Village Hall and is the perfect place for both experienced and beginner yogi’s to prepare for the day.

Children’s Learning Center
Open on weekends and holidays from 8am to 4:30pm, the Children’s learning center is the perfect place for little ones who need a break from the mountain.
