Overview
Boreal Resort is home to 480 acres of skiable terrain and a 500’ vertical drop. The resort is well known for its convenient access from Sacramento and the Bay area, four terrain parks, great intermediate terrain, and its night skiing.
Location
Located on Tahoe’s north shore just west of Truckee on Interstate 80. To get to the resort, take the Boreal/Castle Peak Exit.
Season/Hours
The resort is open from 9am to 9pm. When night skiing is not available, the resort closes at 4pm. The resort is generally open from mid-November to mid-May.
Mountain Services
Boreal offers equipment rentals and demos, a tubing hill, ski school, kids club, and several bars and restaurants.
