The Reno National Bowling Center in Nevada is like no other bowling facility in the world. Designed with the professional bowler in mind, the building is massive and quite impressive, especially if you're visiting for the first time. This is definitely the place to visit if you have kids and want to do something really fun.
The lobby itself is very large and contains a bronze sculpture of a family on their way to a game of bowling. There are glass elevators and an escalator – not something you usually see in a bowling arena. The fourth floor houses the tournament area, which boasts 78 lanes. The building is also famous for the longest video screen in the world – it stretches a whopping 440 feet in length.
The stadium also contains a Pro Shop where you can buy some of the newest items in the world of bowling. Each lane uses a sophisticated tracking system that keeps track of the game you're playing and lets you know how you're doing with great accuracy.
Within this amazing facility there is also a room for hosting parties and gatherings, called the Stadium Club. The fifth floor contains a theater with a four-story screen and a six channel digital surround sound audio system.
The center is located at 300 N. Center Street Reno, Nevada.
