Golfing at Northstar's 18 hole, par-72 golf course is the perfect summer outdoor activity. Designed by world famous golf course architect, Robert Muir Graves, the layout embraces the region's rugged, wooded landscape. With over 6,700 yards playing space and four tee locations, Northstar at Tahoe Resort's golf course is an ideal way to spend a warm summer's day.
Adrenaline junkies can get their fix on nearly 100 miles of exciting mountain bike Northstar. Ranging from beginner to advanced, the well-maintained scenic trails vary from cross-country to downhill. The resort's signature trail, Live Wire, stretches along for two miles with vertical drop of 1100 feet. The newly renovated trail has over forty jumps, table tops, and large berms and is irrigated from top to bottom in order to keep the dust down.
More laid back activities include hiking (or taking the free lift ride) to the heights of the mountain to view gorgeous Lake Tahoe or relaxing at one of the Village's weekly outdoor movies. Shops and restaurants host a bevy of fun events all summer long, such as wine tasting, live music, and games.
