There is so much to see and to do in the area of North Lake Tahoe, including Incline Village, that the biggest decision will be where to begin. In the summers, the weather is warm and dry and the surrounding mountains are reflected in the vast miles of sparkling blue water. If you can imagine it, you can enjoy it in this pristine area of Nevada. Summer activities include hiking, biking, sailing, canoeing, shopping, dining and much, much, more.
You can spend the long summer days climbing the majestic peaks to get that spectacular Lake Tahoe view, spend the time playing a round or two of golf at any of the eleven scenic golf courses, and/or take a relaxing walk on one of the many beaches. During the summer, you can also enjoy various summer events and festivals including the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and Lake Tahoe Music Festival.
Lake Tahoe winters are the best and whitest in North America. The Incline Village area and the surrounding communities located on the North Shore average over 600 inches of snow each winter. Snow related activities include alpine skiing, backcountry skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. In addition, the shops and casinos are always open and the options for winter entertainment are endless. This is the place to play – in both the snow and the sun!
